Happy Easter

We are closed this weekend, and I hope to have some time to get deeply recharged because exciting things are coming up over the rest of Spring and this Summer. We will be celebrating some anniversaries, 10 years in our current location, and 20 that I have been running the shoppe overall. No one knows exactly how old the business actually is so I will happily celebrate these milestones. Watch for special events, sales, and some reminiscing . It is time to dig out all your old UFO’s from past projects with us. Fun events are in the works to help get them finished. But that is enough of a teaser for now.

All our regular events will happen in April, Going Native on the 6th, Hand Stitchers on the 9th, Threaditation on the 18th, and Crazy Quilt Club on the 23rd. Two additional events are on the schedule, Thangles workshop on the 13th, and Healing Garden Hand Embroidery on the 11th. I am very pleased to be running the Healing Garden again. This is one of my most popular programs, in this workshop we will go over all skills needed to do the hand embroidery patterns. If you are brand new or if you need a refresher, and even if you did this as a BOM with us during Covid, come and join us. Stop in or email and we can get you set up. If you did not do this as a BOM you will need to purchase the pattern. In May we will be offering the piecing workshop using the Kaleidoscope Block. That workshop was designed to use these embroideries, but is beautiful without them too. There is more information on the piecing workshop on the classes page.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon, and enjoying the garden, real, embroidered, or pieced!!!
