Spinning plates and and the internet

Having a 11 week old pup in the house with all our other pets, including my daughters dog home from college with her for another two weeks has been like the old vaudeville act spinning plates on sticks and keeping them all from smashing. Sir Percival the Quilt Pug is getting more confident and outgoing every day and will be a regular shoppe dog before you know it. His doggie big brother Hero is being pretty good but got into something in my daughters room and we are washing ALL of my daughters bedding. Percival used the paper beautifully, but then walked through it and tracked it all around the kitchen floor while I was helping out with my daughters laundry since she has her booster appointment this morning. So it is good that Percival is cute and cuddly most of the time. He is excellent at lowering stress levels most of the time.

So what is happening at the Shoppe?? Crazy Quilt Club has been postponed. The next meeting with be in February. I will update the info on our club news page with a supply list after I check in with Diane. Covid and the cold weather are making in person club and class meetings tricky again so it felt like a good time to remind you that you can make a private shopping or workshop appointment on Tuesdays or Fridays and be assured that it will only be me and you in the shoppe. We are not in a large space so if you need to be certain of social distancing this is a good way to go. We can also do curbside during open hours. The world has made running a brick and mortar retail shop extremely challenging lately, and I am doing everything I can to keep things going, but without you all making purchases and participating in our programs it could all go away.

The need for the internet has intensified tremendously and I am re thinking some of my platforms adn will be revamping the website. Can you let me know which online forms you use most often for quilt and quilt supply shopping? Do you love facebook, youtube, instagram, or something else?? I want to be able to keep in touch with all of you in the most expedient way.

For now, you can message me through the facebook page, call or text the shoppe 845 758 8541 or use email to reach out to us. We are vaxed and masked and social distanced and disinfected regularly, and doing everything we can to keep you safe and shopping local.

vintage top ready to be finished for a customer.
