Time for Fall Color

First, we are open today 12 to 5, but closed tomorrow.

Now, I am excited for you to make the tumbling blocks runner with me. The workshop is one week from today and there is still room. SO let me tell you more about it. some of the wonderful extras about this workshop include that for the first of the the two sessions you don’t have to bring your sewing machine!! and if you don’t mind doing some simple machine sewing at home you don’t need to carry it for the second session either. Don’t you love that? One of the other wonderful things is that we are offering a fabric kit for it that includes not only the lovely Benartex radiant paisley fabrics for the blocks, but all the fabrics you need including the backing. and if you order the kit I will throw in enough paper pieces to do the runner for free. Give me a call if you want me to cut you a kit and reserve your spot. 845 758 8541 more details, timing, costs and supplies, are on the workshops page.

It is so nice to have things going a bit more like normal lately, Next week two of our clubs are meeting, On Tuesday our handstitchers club will be making self cording and tassels from embroidery floss or perle cotton for use in finishing ornaments. Next Saturday is a Crazy Quilt Club meeting, if you are new to that group let me know so I can get your email address to Diane Johnson who runs it. There are two choices for meetings, indoors with masks, or out front without masks. At the moment, handsititchers is outdoors weather permitting, and crazy quilt is inside because the tables are needed. We love and value all of you and are doing our best to strike the balance between comfort and safety.

Also, this month’s healing garden emails have been sent. If you should be getting them and haven’t please let me know. This month the pattern is roses.

So come visit us today and sign up for a class or join one of our clubs and have a happy day.
